Song Notifications

Complete the Google Music (beta) experience! (Also works with other music players, but your mileage may vary!)

Features

<> Pops up the now playing song when it starts playing in Google Music.

<> Choose how long the popup should be on screen for or leave it there for as long as the music is playing. Tap the notification to have it disappear until the next song starts.

<> Turn the screen on when the song changes so you can see the lock screen music info*

<> Keep the screen on while music is playing. Ideal when your Music player is left open in a car dock while driving. This will keep the screen on (dimmed), by default only while charging as it will obviously drain your battery!

Must have companion app for anyone who drives a lot and uses their phone for GPS and Music.

android.permission.SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW

If Navigation Mode is enabled this permission allows us to overlay the artist and song info on the screen above Google Maps Navigation.

android.permission.WAKE_LOCK

Allows the app to turn the screen on if that option is enabled.

android.permission.INTERNET

Needed to fetch the album covers from the internet as Android's album art implementation is less than perfect
